 Veena Malik has again landed in the middle of a controversy, this time for “ripping-off” Katrina Kaif’s look in a new film. After turning down a number of Bollywood roles, the Pakistani actress agreed to dance in an item song titled The Item Bomb Channo.
But critics believe her look is almost identical to that of British Indian actress Katrina Kaif’s latest release Chikni Chameli.
Stills from the new film have been dubbed ‘uncomfortably reminiscent’ of the first-look photos from Kaif’s Agneepath by India Today, the Mirror reported.
Critics have speculated that the similarities in dress, hair, makeup and setting are a PR ploy to generate further coverage after the star’s FHM nude photoshoot row. But Malik claims the fact that Channo was ‘different’ is what persuaded her to agree to the film, which is set for release on February 3.  After much hype and speculation the music and trailer launch of Meera’s new film “5 Ghantey Mien 5 Crore “ took place at Cinemax Andheri, India. The music launch was attended by the star cast of the film Abhishek Kumar, Shawar Ali, Kavita Radheshyam, Ranjit, Nasir and Abdulla but Meera’s absence was surely felt by everyone.
The music of the film has already started gaining popularity with the song “Kya wajah thi teray janay ki..” already becoming a sensation. Furthermore the famous song of Noor Jehan “O Sone Kay Kangana..” is being sung again and will surely grab attention when it’s video will be released. Post the Kolaveri mania, there couldn’t have been a better time for South star and Rajnikanth’s son-in-law Dhanush to announce his directorial debut in Bollywood. The actor is planning to take the leap into direction with a fantasy flick.

 Some time back there was speculation whether Sanjay Dutt would return as the much loved goon in the hit series Munnabhai. Though initial reports suggested that the actor would be replaced, we have now learnt that Sanjay Dutt will be seen as Munnabhai once again.
The third part in the series is said to go on floors next year and will feature Sanjay Dutt as Munnabhai and Arshad Warsi as his buddy Circuit. The film is being produced by Vidhu Vinod Chopra.

 According to sources, new mommy Aishwarya Rai Bachchan will make her Bollywood comeback only after a year
The reports that Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is returning to cinema with a film by Sanjay Leela Bhansali has everyone around the two concerned families baffled.
The buzz is that Ash will return to films at least after a year.
The rumour was that SLB plans to cast his ‘Paro’ from Dedvdas as Mastani and that too with Shah Rukh Khan playing Bajirao.
Says a source, “SLB and Shah Rukh have spoken about a role. But it is certainly not Bajirao.
As for Aishwarya it would be quite a while, at least a year before she even contemplates returning to movies.”

Sexy Veena Malik, will now sizzles with oodles of attitude in the item song Channo in the film ‘Gali Gali Chor Hai’ a film by Rumy Jafry.
The song Channo from the film is being choreographed by Ahmed Khan and sung by Mamta Sharma, while Anu Malik has given the music score.
After refusing several item numbers in Bollywood, ‘Channo’ is a song that caught her fancy in a first hearing. “From the styling to the set up, from the tune to the choreography everything in this item number is different.  Hrithik Roshan got injured while shooting for “Krrish 3″ at the Filmistan Studios he fell down and hurt himself very badly.
A member from the unit revealed that Hrithik, who has been assisting his father, Rakesh Roshan, on the sets, attempted to attend to his injury himself.
“Hrithik tried to use the first-aid kit to nurse his hand, but then he realised that the injury required professional attention. His skin on his right hand had peeled off and so, he had to take a break from the shoot.
Everyone on set was very concerned, but he did not let it affect the shoot, ” added the unit member.
The incident took place last week. In October, Hrithik injured his back while shooting for an action sequence for “Agneepath” remake and was taken to the Breach Candy hospital here for treatment.

Katrina Kaif’s item number Cheekni chameli in Karan Johar’s upcoming production Agneepath, is actually a foot-tapping peppy Marathi dance number from a 2006 Marathi film Jatra featuring Bharat Jadav in the lead.
The original Marathi song Kombadi palali was composed by the brothers Atul and Ajay Gogavale and is still played at festive occasions.
