Capitol boss Davis appeared to confirm the news when he told a radio interviewer, “50 felt he needed to get out of the Interscope machine, and he wanted a change. The Twilight Saga Eclipse took a $68.5-million bite out of the box office over the weekend, its studio estimated on Sunday, bringing its domestic total after five days to $162 million. But that figure is much less than the $173 million that Summit Entertainment had predicted it would make last week and falls short of the $165 million that its predecessor, The Twilight Saga New Moon had earned in its first weekend last November.
